Friend

Happy Monday Everyone!

Today,  I'm featuring a card  I made for a friend and used the Marbled Background and Pretty Kitty stamp sets along with the Lovely Words Thinlits.  This background stamp is very pretty in any color and makes a stunning card.

I actually used Bermuda Bay cardstock and ink for my card, but I'm sorry,  the picture doesn't show the color very well.  Believe me when I say,  it is very pretty in person in this color and Bermuda Bay is one of my favorite colors.

I used the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets along with the Bermuda Bay cardstock to cut out the "friend" thinlit and to adhere it to the front of the card. The Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets are a must have for die cutting and adhering those delicate die cuts to your projects.

The Marbled Background is also one of my favorites and looks beautiful in any color.  The good news is, the Marbled Background and Pretty Kitty stamp sets are being carried over into the new 2018-2019 Annual Catalog to be released on June 1st.

However, the Lovely Word Thinlits will be retiring as of May 31, 2018, so if you like these thinlits with 3 in the set (Hugs, Friend and Lovely), you might want to get them before their gone forever.

The inside is stamped with one of the images from the Pretty Kitty stamp set along with the sentiment from the same set.  The image was stamped with Tuxedo Memento Black Ink and colored with the Watercolor Markers.  I used the Blender Pens to slightly blend the colors but wanted the kitty to have a little bit of a scruffy look which I think I captured.

The sentiment was stamped with Bermuda Bay Classic Ink.

Measurements:

Card Base - Bermuda Bay - 4 14" x 5 1/2"
Whisper White Layer - 4" x 5 1/4" for the front and inside layer
Bermuda Bay - 2 1/4"  x 3 1/4"  to cut out the greeting on the front of the card
Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet - 2 1/4" x 3 1/4"
