Healing Hugs

Hello Stampers!

Today, I'm featuring two cards made from the Healing Hugs Stamp Set.  This stamp set is one of the Distinctive stamps that brings a whole new dimension to stamping.  The new stamp style is textured with varying densities of concentrated rubber.  The resulting ink opacities produce a realistic complexity and intensity.  The graduated effect looks even more dynamic in person, so this is a stamp set, I think you'll enjoy having in your collection.

In this first card, I stamped the rose and leaves with the new Lovely Lipstick and Granny Apple Green classic inks.   Notice how beautiful and realistic these distinctive stamps look.  Absolutely love this rose and leaves!

I paired the Lovely Lipstick cardstock base with a layer of Blushing Bride and Whisper White cardstock.  Added a few pearls from the Share What You Love Artisan Pearls to dress it up a bit and you have a very elegant card.

Measurements:
Lovely Lipstick Card Base - 4 1/4" x 11" scored at 5 1/2"
Blushing Bride Layer - 4" x 5 1/4" (cut 2)
Whisper White Layer - 3 3/4" x 5" (cut 2)

With this card, I used one of the images in the stamp set along with Versamark and randomly stamped on the front of the Shaded Spruce card base to get a tone on tone effect.  I added a layer of whisper white cardstock, and with the Pear Pizzazz cardstock, I cut out a scalloped square from the Layering Square Framelits Dies.

The greeting was stamped with Shaded Spruce classic ink onto whisper white cardstock and cut out from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies. I added dimensionals to pop it up on the Pear Pizzazz layer.   Tied a double bow made from the Linen Thread and adhered it to the card with a rolled glue dot and Voila!, you have a clean and simple get well card.

Measurements:

Shaded Spruce Card Base - 4 1/4" x 11" scored at 5 1/2"
Whisper White Layer - 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" and 4" x 5 1/4" (inside layer)
Pear Pizzazz Layer - 3" x 3" and 3 3/4" x 5" (inside layer)
Whisper White Layer - 2 3/8" x 2 3/8"

I can't tell you how much I love this stamp set and if you love it as much as I do, I know you'll want to add it to your collection.

Just think of other cards you can make with this Distinctive stamp set.  The rose and leaves would also look beautiful on a Birthday Card, Just for You, Just Because, Anniversary or Wedding Card.

With every card you make with this new Distinctive stamp set and in any color, I know it will be absolutely BEAUTIFUl!

I'm very pleased with the way these cards turned out, and I hope you like them too.   Please hope on over to my blog at  www.paperandinkcreations.com to leave me a comment about the card, and also let me know what you think of the new Distinctive stamps.  While you're there, please share my blog with your friends.
