Peaceful Reflection

Hello Friends!

I love these colors together, don't you?  This card was made with the Peaceful Reflections and Thankful Thoughts stamp sets in the following colors:

  • Highland Heather,
  • Gorgeous Grape
  • Bermuda Bay
  • Whisper White
The larger leaf was stamped with Gorgeous Grape and the smaller ones are in Highland Heather.  I don't know if the fly is a firefly, dragonfly or an angel fly (if there is such a thing) but whatever she is, I think she's cute so I stamped her in Bermuda Bay.  The greeting was stamped in Gorgeous Grape and is from the Thankful Thoughts Stamp Set.

I embossed the Bermuda Bay layer with the Subtle Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder which gives it the look of linen.  This embossing folder doesn't look like much in the catalog but when you emboss a piece of cardstock with it, it's simply elegant.

The Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies were used to cut out the larger white oval and the Layering Oval Framelits Dies were used to cut the 2 Gorgeous Grape scalloped ovals and the smaller whisper white oval.

What's difficult to see is, I used the clear Wink of Stella glitter pen and went over the entire image including the fly and the greeting which gives it that little extra pizzazz.  I also added two small Gorgeous Grape Glitter enamel dots on the white banner.

I stamped 3 images from the same stamp set in Gorgeous Grape.  The bottom image is part of a larger stamp in the Peaceful Refection stamp set.  The sentiment was stamped in Bermuda Bay from the Thankful Thoughts Stamp Set.
