Clean & Simple Christmas Card

Hello Friends!

Last week, I told you the wreath in the stamp set Wishing You Well would make a pretty Christmas card, so I created this clean and simple card to show you how pretty it actually is.

I stamped the wreath with Shaded Spruce classic ink and the bow was stamped with Real Red Classic Ink and added the clear wink of stella to make it sparkle. I then cut it out and attached it with a couple of glue dots.  I'm not one for fussy cutting but with the straight lines of the bow, it was not difficult to cut out.  I also added 3 red rhinestone basic jewels to add some color to the wreath.

The gold scalloped square was cut out from the Layering Square Framelits Dies which I think, brings out the simplicity and elegance of the card.    The whisper white layer attached to the base of the card was embossed with the Subtles Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder which adds softness to the background.

The sentiment and the sprig of poinsettias at the top of the layer are from the Dashing Deer Stamp Set and stamped them in Real Red Classic Ink.

Real Red - Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"
Whisper White Layer - 4" x 5 1/4" (cut 2)
Gold Foil Layer - 3" x 3"  cut with Layering Squares Framelits Dies
Whisper White for Wreath - 2 5/8" x 2 5/8"
Whisper White Scrap to stamp and cut out the bow

I like the clean and simplistic elegance of this card and would like to know what you think of it.
