Halloween Treat Holders

Hello Friends!

I'm going to a small 45 person scrapbooking crop this weekend, and at this crop, they rotate vendors for 3 hours at a time, and only one vendor per company. Although, I'm going to be there all weekend with my daughter and friends doing some scrapbooking and making cards, I'm also going to be the Stampin' Up! vendor this Saturday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.   With Halloween right around the corner, I've decided to offer these cute little treat holders for my make-n-take.

These matchbook treat holders are very easy to make, and you can whip up a bunch in no time at all.   I used the Toil & Trouble Designer Series Paper,  the Toil & Trouble Cardstock Pack, along with the Cauldron Bubble Stamp Set, Cauldron Framelits Dies, Spooky Bats Punch, Cat Punch, and the beautiful Black 3/8"  Glittered Organdy Ribbon.  The sentiments are from the Caudron Bubble and the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp sets.

What's nice about the Toil & Trouble Designer Series Paper is, the witches hat and many of the other designs in the pack can be cut out with the Cauldron Framelits Dies.  In fact, all the pieces in the Cauldron Bubble Stamp Set with the exception of the sentiments, can be cut with the Cauldron Framelits Dies. This awesome set has it all and is a must have for your Halloween cards and treat holders.

One thing that may be difficult to see in the photo is, I used the clear wink of stella to make two round dots for the eyes on the cat which gives him that spooky look.

On the inside, I stapled the edge of a fun size  bag of M&Ms and covered over the staple with a piece of the colored cardstock with the sentiment stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black Ink.  You can use any fun size bag of candy that lies flat in these treat holder.

Measurements:
Treat Holder Base - 2 3/4 x 8 1/2" scored at 3/4", 4 1/2", and 5"
Solid Colored Layer - 2 1/2" x 2 7/8'
Toil & Trouble Designer Series Paper - 2 1/4" x 2 5/8"
Strip of Colored Cardstock for the Greeting Banner - 1/2" x 2 5/8"
Basic Black strip for the Pumpkin Pie Treat Holder - 5/8" x 2 5/8"
Basic Black Scrapes to punch out the Bats
Mango Melody Scrapes to punch out the Half Moon

These are the cutest trick holders that not only children will love, but adults will love getting one too. Why not make a bunch and hand them out to your co-workers.  I'm sure they'll appreciate the treat.

Also, some companies have a Halloween party for children and grandchildren of their employees.   These would be a big hit not only at the Halloween office party,  but at any Halloween party.
