Pretty Little Halloween Witch

Hello Stampers!

I mentioned a couple of days ago, I would be featuring cards from my team swap.  With Halloween right around the corner,  I have a pretty little witch to share with you, that was created by my talented teammate Stephanie Swearingen.

She colored the witch with both watercolor pencils and  classic ink.  Stephanie added a light coat of each color and combined a couple of colors to give it a shaded look.   The softness of the colors make the witch stand out on the Gorgeous Grape layer and the Daffodil Delight moon.   I must say, Stephanie did a really nice job and has excellent coloring skills.

The witch was cut out from the framelits in the set of dies that coordinates with the stamp set.     Generally, witches can be pretty ugly, but this one by far is the cutest!  Also in the set of framelits, is a cob web die that she cut out with the black foil sheets.

The moon was cut from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies, and the Gorgeous Grape layered background was embossed with the Subtles Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  A piece of  black 3/8" glittered organdy ribbon is wrapped around the Gorgeous Grape layer, and a few black Faceted Dots were added around the greeting that was stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black Ink.

The Cauldron Bubble Stamp Set  has some pretty cute images and the Cauldron Framelits Dies cuts them all out.  These images will not only look cute on cards but also treat bags for your ghosts and goblins or to bring into work for your fellow employees, and even on gift bags and tags.  The stamp set and framelits can be purchased separately, but if you purchase them as a bundle, you will save 10%.

Basic Black Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"
Gorgeous Grape Layer - 4" x 5 1/4"
Whisper White for the Witch - 2 1/8" x 3 1/4"
Daffodil Delight for the Moon - 3 1/8" x 3 1/8"
Black Foil Sheet for the Cob Web - 2" x 2"

This is a very cute and simple card to make for Halloween.  I know I'll be making some to send out.  Thank you Stephanie Swearingen for doing a fantastic job on this cute Halloween card and allowing me to share it on my blog.
