Petal Palette Thank You Card

Hello Friends!

This is a Triple Z-Fold Card that we made in class this weekend.   However, it is not my original design, so I cannot take full credit for it.   I saw it somewhere online, liked it, so I cased it and only changed the colors.

I wish I could remember where I saw it, or who I should give credit too.  My apologies go out to the creator and all of you.  Shame on me, I should have made note of her name, but I didn't.

The background dots on the top fold and the inside bottom of the card were made from a long dot stamp in the Petal Palette stamp set, and it was done with Highland Heather Classic Ink.  The greeting and the sentiment are also from the stamp set and they too were stamped in Highland Heather Classic Ink.  The flowers were stamped with Tuxedo Memento Black Ink and colored with the Stampin' Blends.  I cut them out with the Petals & More Thinlits Dies and adhered it to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Here's a picture of the card opened up.

When you're adhering the Highland Heather z-fold cardstock, be sure to use tear & tape on only half of the first section as shown above, fold up the entire Highland Heather z-fold , add tear & tape  to the last section and close the card.  It will adhere on its own.

Measurements;
Whisper White Card Base - 4 1/4" x 11" scored at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2"
Highland Heather Layer - 3" x 9" scored at 3" snd 6"
Whisper White for the Front and Inside Layers - 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" (cut 2)

Everyone in the class had fun making this card and the design can be used for any occasion by changing the greeting and sentiment.  It's a quick and easy card to make, so you might want to give it a try,  and I'm sure you'll have fun while making it.

Creating your own background is also fun.  It's easy when you have stamps in each set that you can do that with.  All it takes is a little experimenting, so give it a try.   I'm sure you'll be surprised at what you come up with.
