Amazing Life

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I know I've been MIA for a few weeks but I'm back.

Yes, the new Occasions Catalog and the Sale-A-Bration Brochure is live and doing very well.    If you do not have them and would like them,  please send me an email at: stampwithmargo@gmail.com along with your name and address, and I will send them to you.

Todays card is from the Amazing Life Stamp Set and Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies Bundle which are from the new Occasions Catalog.  Both the Stamp Set and the Framelits Dies can also be purchased separately but you save 10% if you purchase them as a bundle.

The sentiment was stamped with Tranquil Tide Classic Ink and cut out from the 4th largest framelit from the new Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies. and adhered to the top of the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.  I also added three silver metallic pearls from the Metallic Pearl embellishment pack.

I used the Subtles Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder for the Tranquil Tide layer that was placed on top of the Soft Sea Foam card base.  The strip down the middle is from the 2017-2019  6" x 6" Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack.

The inside is very simple but here is where you would want to use your Stamparatus, so you can stamp the decorative chain edge in the exact place on the top and bottom of the layer.

The best way to achieve an even look, is to place the stamp where you want it to appear on the top of the layer, pick it up with the acrylic plate on the Stamparatus, ink it up and stamp the top edge.

DO NOT move the stamp.  Flip your paper around and put it in the exact same spot on the Stamparatus, so that the edge you just stamped is now at the bottom, re-ink the stamp and stamp the top edge of the paper.  By doing it this way, your decorative chain border will be in the exact place at the top and bottom of the layer without moving the stamp.  The decorative chain border and sentiment are also from the Amazing Life Stamp Set as well, and was also stamped with Tranquil Tide Classic Ink.

Measurements:
 Soft Sea Foam Card Base - 4 1/4" x 11" scored at 5 1/2" and 4" x 5 1/4" for the Inside Layer
Tranquil Tide Layer - 4" x 5 1/4"
Designer Series Paper Layer - 1 3/4" x 5 1/4"
Soft Sea Foam Layer for Sentiment - 3 1/2" x 4 3/4"

This was an easy and simple card to make and would look good in any color for any occasion. It's also a good way to use up some of your designer series paper DSP.   I like the simplicity of the card and the way it turned out.  I hope you like it enough to make one of your own.
